Council seeks formulation of program on climate change

BAGUIO CITY – The city council has sought the formulation of an integrated program on climate change for the city to cope with the expected impact of global warming and other repercussions of climate change.

Kids thank GMA for saving tree park

Sixth grader Laurence Theo Parinas visited the tree park beside the Baguio Convention Center last Sept. 13 and learned that President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo had ordered that it be preserved as such.

Smoke belching group nets 711, 61% fail tests

BAGUIO CITY – After the Roadside Inspection, Testing and Monitoring Team’s (RITMT) intermittent operations along the city’s roads from June 29 up to the present, 711 vehicles were flagged down for testing, with 61% failing the smoke-belching testing machine readings.

Urban landscape walk-through helps kids learn local history

Pupils,  students and teachers of three public elementary and high schools walked through the center of Baguio’s urban landscape last Aug. 21 to know its historical monuments and buildings, clean its main street and mark the 26th death anniversary of Senator Benigno Aquino Jr.
