BAGUIO CITY – Mayor Reinaldo Bautista Jr. Thursday announced that the city is poised to formally accept the offer of Benguet Corporation for the city’s free use of its open pit mines in Suyoc, Itogon, Benguet as possible site for the city’s engineered sanitary landfill.

BAGUIO CITY – The city council last Monday approved a resolution calling for the conduct of a special meeting among the council members, the department heads and members of the Technical Working Group of the City Solid Waste Management Board to decide on a definite or permanent solution to the city’s waste problem.
